Wi-Fi stats: how many people, when and how much

See how busy each location is, its busiest hours, how guests got on and how much data they used, without opening the usage log.

  1. Open the location’s Stats tab.
  2. Choose a range: 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days, or 1 year.
  • Most online at once, Average online, Sign-ins and Data used (download and upload) for the range.
  • Devices online, counted every 5 minutes, and Devices per day, counting each device once a day.
  • Busiest hours: the average devices online at each hour of the day, to plan staff or equipment.
  • How guests got on: printed codes, codes from your shop’s orders, bills and stays, user accounts, organisation sign-in (SSO), 802.1X or devices allowed without sign-in.
  • Devices using the most data: only owners and Project admins see it, and the names are kept 90 days.

Stats come from the sign-ins, not the usage log, so looking at them is not recorded as a look at the log.

If something goes wrong

It says “No stats yet”

Stats start once the location is active. The first numbers show within minutes, and days are summed up every hour.

Data used stays at 0

If you use the location’s own router, it must send usage (Accounting) to us. See the Equipment tab to set it up. On company Wi-Fi (802.1X), data is counted when each device signs off, so it can show later than the online chart.
