Wi-Fi codes, and codes from Business Apps

Print codes for walk-in guests, or let a Business Apps shop hand out codes to buyers, hotel guests and tenants by itself.

Make and print codes

  1. Open the location and click Make codes on the Who can get on tab (or in the location’s header).
  2. Choose how many (1–500 at a time), the time online (1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days), devices per code (1–10), download and upload speed (0 for no limit), and how many days a code must first be used within.
  3. Click Make codes, then Print. Click Void to stop a code that shouldn’t be used.

Codes come from the shop itself, nothing to print. They end when the shop says, or at check-out and the end of a lease. A Hotspot Server keeps signing guests in while the line is down.

On a website with Business Apps, turn on Customer Wi-Fi under Tools in use (no extra charge), open the Wi-Fi tab and pick the location the shop uses, then choose who gets a code:

  • Buyers: a paid order or closed table bill gets a code on its receipt; a table bill covers as many devices as guests.
  • Hotel guests: a code at check-in that lasts until check-out.
  • Monthly tenants: a code for the room for the whole lease.
  • Shop team: staff sign in with the same username and password they use for the shop.

You can also sell Wi-Fi passes as items in the shop.
