Guest Wi-Fi on the controller you have, with codes and a log
Your access points are UniFi or Omada, the guest portal only has one shared password, and no one keeps a record. Point the controller’s guest portal at our RADIUS: every guest gets a code, and every session is recorded.
How it connects
- On the Equipment tab, choose your brand and copy the server, ports, NAS-Identifier and secret into the controller’s RADIUS settings.
- Set the guest portal to check with RADIUS using PAP. The equipment must send Message-Authenticator, which most firmware since mid-2024 does.
- Guests type their Wi-Fi code as the username on the controller’s sign-in page.
- Works with UniFi, Omada, Meraki, Cisco and any other whose portal checks with RADIUS.
What you get
- Codes with a time limit, speed limit and number of devices; void any code at once.
- Accounting records who had which address and when, for the Computer Crime Act log. UniFi gateways can also send their connection log.
- Stats for devices online, busiest hours and data used.
- Or use our Hotspot Server between the line and your access points, and keep the controller for the radios.
In the same account
- With Business Apps, shop receipts, hotel check-ins and leases hand out codes by themselves.
- Offices can move up to Enterprise Wi-Fi: staff sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google, or WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise.
