Already have a Docker image? Run it now, with no servers to look after
For APIs, back offices, LINE bots and apps your team writes in Node.js, Python, Go, PHP or anything else. Enter the image name and get an HTTPS address; it scales with the people using it and sleeps when nobody calls.
Deploy the image you have
- Pull from Docker Hub, GHCR or your own private registry (HTTPS with a token).
- Get an HTTPS URL straight away, such as https://name.containers.region.thailandhosting.com.
- Set environment variables and secrets (up to 100), the port, command and health check on one page.
- Link a Managed Database or Cache and DATABASE_URL and the other connection settings are set for you.
- If you pick a machine type with ARM CPUs, the image must support linux/arm64.
Scales and sleeps by itself
- Set the minimum to 0 instances and the container sleeps after about 15 minutes without requests, then wakes on the next one.
- Scale to as many as 20 instances, and set how many requests each instance takes at once, from 1 to 1,000.
- Request timeouts of up to 60 minutes.
- Open it to everyone on the internet or only inside the VPC, and optionally require callers to send an invoker token.
Easy to run after deploy
- Every deploy is kept as a revision; roll back to an earlier one in a click.
- Read what your app prints to stdout and stderr, filter it, and see instance status in the Console.
- Machine time is billed by the hour for the vCPU and RAM of the size you pick (Nano to Max), only while instances run.
- Data sent out to the internet is $0.12 per GB, and the servers are in Bangkok.
Frequently asked questions
How are containers billed?
By the hour, for the vCPU and RAM of the size you pick times the instances running. With a minimum of 0 instances, there is no machine charge while it sleeps. Charges come from the Project’s wallet.
Which languages and frameworks can I use?
Anything in a Docker image that answers HTTP requests on the port you set (passed to it in $PORT), such as Node.js, Python, Go, PHP, Java or .NET.
Can I run a LINE bot or take webhooks?
Yes. A container has an HTTPS URL you can use as a webhook right away. With a minimum of 0 instances, the first request after a sleep is a little slower; set it to 1 to keep it always ready.
How do I connect it to a database?
Create a Managed Database or Cache in the same Project and link it to the container. DATABASE_URL and the connection settings are set for you, and traffic stays on the VPC.
I pushed the same image tag but the app did not update
The image is pinned when you deploy. Press Deploy new revision to pull the latest image for that tag.
