Guests get a Wi-Fi code at check-in that lasts until check-out
Stop leaving the Wi-Fi password in the room for anyone passing to use. Give each room its own code that ends with the stay, on a sign-in page with the hotel’s brand, and let the log be kept for you.
Codes that follow the stay
- Take bookings on your site with Business Apps and guests get a code at check-in that works until check-out.
- Or print codes at reception lasting 1 day, 7 days or 30 days, with enough devices per code for the whole family.
- Print hundreds of codes at once for seminars, weddings or restaurant guests.
- Staff sign in with the same login they use for the shop system.
Use the equipment you have
- MikroTik, UniFi, Omada, Meraki, Cisco or any brand that checks with RADIUS. Several routers across buildings work too, up to 16 per location.
- Or place our Hotspot Server with access points of any brand. It keeps working while the Internet line is down.
- The sign-in page opens over HTTPS with the hotel’s name and logo.
Priced by the size of the hotel
- Per location by the devices online at once: S 30 devices $9.90, M 100 devices $19.90, L 300 devices $39.90, XL 1,000 devices $79.90.
- In high season, leave pay per use on so no guest is turned away, or keep new devices off when full.
- Pay yearly and get 12 months for the price of 10.
Foreign guests and extra revenue
- A sign-in page in 7 languages: Thai, English, Lao, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian
- Guests without a code, such as restaurant guests or meeting attendees, buy a Wi-Fi pass on the sign-in page and pay by PromptPay or at the desk
- Collect guests’ emails or phone numbers with PDPA consent to news, for your next promotion
- Promotion cards on the sign-in page: the spa, the restaurant, tours or a late check-out
Frequently asked questions
Which package suits a 10-room homestay?
Package S (30 devices online at once), $9.90 a month, is usually enough. Enter the rooms and access points when you add the location and the console suggests a package.
Do I need ThailandHosting’s booking system as well?
No. Print codes at reception. With bookings in Business Apps, guests get their code at check-in automatically.
Does a hotel have to keep a log under the Computer Crime Act?
Anyone giving the public Internet access must keep computer traffic data for at least 90 days. Every connection is logged for you, and you can search and export CSV when an official asks.
Can foreign guests read the sign-in page?
Yes. The Hotspot box’s sign-in page speaks 7 languages: Thai, English, Lao, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian. It opens in the language of the guest’s phone, and guests can switch
Can we collect guest emails for promotions, in line with PDPA?
Yes. The page can ask for an email or phone number, with a consent box for news apart from the terms of use, never ticked for the guest. The words the guest agreed to are kept with the time, you can export only those who agreed, and take a guest off the list or delete them when they ask. Telling guests what the data is for is still the hotel’s duty
