A Wi-Fi code on the receipt for customers who buy

One password the whole street knows means people who never bought anything slow the Wi-Fi for those who did. Give each customer their own code with a time limit, a sign-in page with your shop’s brand, and the log kept for you.

Codes for customers who buy

  • With Business Apps, paid orders and closed table bills get a code on the receipt; a table bill covers the number of guests.
  • Or print codes to hand out at the counter, lasting 1 or 2 hours, with a speed limit and number of devices.
  • Sell Wi-Fi passes as items in your shop, for customers who work there all day.

Easy to set up with what you have

  • Keep your router: a MikroTik takes one pasted script; UniFi, Omada and other brands that check with RADIUS take the connection details in their settings.
  • Or place our Hotspot Server with access points of any brand.
  • The sign-in page opens over HTTPS with your shop’s name and logo.

A price a small shop can afford

  • Package S covers 30 devices online at once for $9.90 a month; bigger shops use M, 100 devices, $19.90.
  • Works on the Free website package, so a shop that only wants Wi-Fi pays only for Wi-Fi.
  • The log from the first 90 days is free up to the package’s allowance, so most shops pay nothing extra.

Sell Wi-Fi time

  • Turn any item into a Wi-Fi pass lasting from 15 minutes up, such as 1 hour, a day or a month for a coworking desk.
  • Customers pay your PromptPay, at the counter or online, and the code comes once it is paid.
  • Every pass sold shows in the shop’s sales report, and the Wi-Fi stats show how many guests came in with shop codes.

Sell on the sign-in page

  • Put your passes on the Hotspot box’s sign-in page: people without a code pick one and pay without walking to the counter
  • The order lands on the shop’s order board with a Wi-Fi tag. Once the staff mark it paid, the customer’s phone gets online by itself and shows the code for their other devices

Frequently asked questions

Does a café have to keep a Wi-Fi log?

A shop that lets customers use the Internet is a service provider under the Computer Crime Act and must keep computer traffic data for at least 90 days. Every connection is logged for you, and you can search and export when an official asks.

Can I use it without Business Apps?

Yes. Print 1–500 Wi-Fi codes at a time to hand out at the counter. Automatic codes on receipts need Business Apps.

One customer uses so much that everyone else slows down. What can I do?

Set download and upload speed limits and the number of devices for each code when you create it.

Does the money go through you?

No. Customers pay the shop’s PromptPay directly; we never hold the money.

Does the system know when a customer has paid?

No. The money goes straight to the shop’s PromptPay; the staff check it and mark the order paid. Customers can tap “I have paid” to let the staff know
